Get ready WA, the countdown is on! RAC Arena and Perth City will burst into a sea of colour and fun for the 57th annual Telethon Weekend on October 19th and 20th. The 26-hour event will be broadcast live on Channel 7 and 7plus with the Telethon Family Festival taking over Wellington Street and Yagan Square on Sunday, October 20th.
Telethon is more than just a weekend of entertainment; it’s an opportunity to come together and make a real difference in the lives of sick and vulnerable children across WA. Supporting 136 beneficiaries and children’s charities, Telethon is dedicated to building a better and brighter future for WA kids.
Smashing records and changing lives
Over the past five decades, the WA community has come together and generously donated more than $605 million to ensure a better life for children and families now and into the future. In 2023, WA drove Telethon to a new record total, raising a whopping $77.5 million. This year, the goal is to raise even more!
New theme: Incredible Together
Telethon 2024 is set to shine with a new theme, Incredible Together, reminding us that incredible things happen when we come together. This year’s theme not only celebrates the ongoing commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of WA children, but also the extraordinary WA community that continues to make this possible.
Who is performing?
Promising an unparalleled entertainment experience, Telethon 2024 will be headlined by legendary Australian music stars, including the likes of Guy Sebastian, Samantha Jade, Vanessa Amorosi, and Human Nature.
But the entertainment doesn’t stop there. The lineup also features all your favourite stars from Home & Away, Sunrise, The Morning Show, The Chase, Better Homes & Gardens, and many more.
Telethon Family Festival
The Telethon Family Festival will be back for its fifth year on Sunday, October 20th. The huge family-friendly event will be held at RAC Arena and along Wellington Street to Yagan Square from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Entry to the event is free for all ages, with free carnival rides, plenty of live entertainment, and attractions for the whole family to enjoy.
Host a fundraiser and donate

Tickets for the Opening and Closing Shows are available now via Ticketek. These shows are set to be the highlights of the weekend, and tickets are limited — so don’t miss out!
If you can’t make it to the Opening or Closing Shows, the Telethon broadcast will continue live from RAC Arena outside of these times. Entry is available for a gold coin donation any time between 10:30 pm on Saturday, October 19th, and 5:00 pm on Sunday, October 20th.
