If they’re interested in science and the wonders of the universe, Scitech is also just a short walk from the arena. Then, end the evening with an ice cream from one of Perth’s many gelato shops — Cuccini Gelato and Kuld Creamery are two favourites.

Elevate your date night with a pre-match dinner at one of the chic rooftop bars in Northbridge. While The Standard may not sit at the top of a skyscraper, what it lacks in height, it makes up for in greenery and atmosphere. Take the stairs to the deck above the garden courtyard and you’ll be rewarded with a stunning view of the CBD and the bustle of Northbridge below. Rooftop at QT is another crowd fabulous option, combining modern sophistication with splashes of artsy colour and skyline views.

If you’re in the mood for a bite and tipple, check out one of the many CBD venues. The Stories precinct is a popular choice, alongside Brookfield Place, and the State Buildings for something a little more refined. If you’re looking for a delicious Italian joint, No Mafia is one of the best on the scene, and Authentic Bites Dumpling House is another winner. A leisurely sunset stroll along Elizabeth Quay also goes down a treat, if you’re keen to get the legs moving.
